How to Use

• Setting up the Hello Birdie app:
  • Download the Hello Birdie app by scanning the QR code or searching in the App Store or Google Play Store
  • Open the app and tap “Sign Up” to create an account
  • Enter your email, verify with the code sent, and create a password
  • Log in using your new credentials to begin setup
• Connecting the camera:
  • Ensure your mobile device is connected to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network
  • Power on the camera and wait for the indicator light to flash
  • Insert the reset pin into the reset hole until prompted
  • Tap “+” in the app and follow on-screen instructions
  • Scan the QR code using the camera (4”–6” away)
  • Complete setup and name your device
• Installing the bird feeder:
  • Assemble the pole and ground stake by connecting the sections and tightening securely
  • Attach the mounting adapter to the bird bath using the included screws
  • Secure the bird bath onto the pole and tighten the thumb screw
  • Insert the stake into the ground in a stable outdoor location
  • Choose a location with good sunlight and strong Wi-Fi signal for optimal performance
• Using the bird bath and accessories:
  • Fill the water basin with fresh water to attract birds
  • Attach accessories such as the hummingbird feeder or fruit skewer by sliding them into place
  • For hummingbirds, mix 1 part sugar with 4 parts water, fill the feeder, and replace regularly
  • Add fresh fruit to the skewer to attract additional bird species
• Using the app features:
  • Open the app to view live camera footage
  • Receive alerts when birds are detected or identified
  • View and download images and videos
  • Track bird activity and manage settings within the app
• Charging the camera:
  • Solar panel charges automatically in sunlight
  • For manual charging, remove the camera and connect via cable
  • Allow approx. 4.5 hours for a full charge
