Care Instructions

• Planting and light: Plant in full sun for best flowering performance. Tolerates a wide range of soil types as long as drainage is good
• Watering: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, this variety is relatively drought tolerant but will perform best with consistent moisture during hot weather. Container-grown trees require more frequent watering
• Mulching: Apply mulch to retain soil moisture and regulate soil temperature. Keep mulch away from the trunk
• Fertilizing: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring if needed to support healthy growth and flowering
• Pruning:
• Blooms on new wood. Prune in late winter or early spring before new growth begins
• Can be pruned to control size and shape
• Remove any shoots from the trunk or below the graft to maintain the tree form
